What type of engineering is there?


Today, engineers don't have to do with building and construction only. There are a lot of other fields and sub-branches of those fields that provide you with a promising career as an engineer. Most, if not all expect a person to have some creative skills, as well as scientific and mathematical expertise. The types of engineers are broadly classified as mechanical, electrical, civil, and chemical.


Electrical Engineering is one of the most influential and diverse branches of Engineering discipline. It is considered a mathematically oriented application as it covers various aspects of electric components, electric signals, and circuits. It includes planning and developing technologies and incorporates them into electronic devices and systems.


Chemical engineering has secondary branches to it. Forestry, agriculture, environmental, biosystem, food, water resource, material, and plastic are a few to name. This field also deals with critical problems of today such as constructing offshore structures for oil production, disaster mitigation, and management.

The first point is that engineers are given the role to create systems that can protect and unite the people and the environment around them. The ones who designed the roads are the engineers; connecting one civilization to another and bringing people closer together, for example, a bridge over a river. Engineering also helps precision machining to create tools and parts in a way that is precise, stable, accurate, and durable.

Engineering is used for a variety of things, designing and construction of building, aircraft, and spacecraft, designing and developing technologies and incorporates them into electric devices and systems. Tools or components need repair or restoration and may require machine calibration, welding or grooving to restore them to their original state.
